hi Arvin Bears I'm mrs. Preston and I'm super excited to be starting another year with you guys this is only my second year at Arvin but I've been teaching for over Seventeen years I've fought in several different schools in Bakersfield and even in a crazy place called Turkmenistan I didn't even know I existed until I Googled it and found out where it was and I also taught in Spain you'll be going to Barcelona por cinco anos idioma espanol translate my Spanish learning about the culture and people on the language and during my five years there it's paying for my hobbies I love to seeing and then watch some Netflix or YouTube I enjoy walking my dog swimming in my pool playing games with my three I have a 10 year old daughter a 14 year old son and a 17 year old son and I also really enjoyed trying out new restaurants with my husband's I'm at our high school how many bombs in our pride team and really excited about our pride everything that we do with that I honestly believe that our pride values one of the most important things that we do it Arvin high school because those $5 in capsule almost everything that we do here so especially in these difficult times of the covid-19 gemach and some of the racial and Prejudice that is dividing our nation and I think it's more important than ever before that we really learn desires and put them Enterprise has been our lives you know the more we participate in these good things the more we show our responsibility the more we have true Integrity even when no one's looking them determined we are to meet our goals and to work hard even when it is very difficult and the more we have that empathy you know to one another the better people we teacher student at our school is going to be in really the better of our community is so I'm determined to work at those and I really want to help you in those Core Pride values that as well so if you're a freshman or soft might just have this is Preston as your English teacher and I really look forward to meeting you all
