To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

A) Demonstrate at school, at the workplace, and within the community the attributes of leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship.

B) Demonstrate strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent).

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

1) Be enrolled in a degree program in an accredited U.S. institution of higher learning during the academic year following the application date.

2) Submit an application and essay explaining his or her career, academic and/or vocational goals.

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

A) Be a high school senior who will be pursuing a four-year degree in nursing.

B) Be involved in volunteer work or other extracurricular activities outside of school.

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

A) Be diagnosed with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder.

B) Be age 18 years or older by the beginning of the 2024-2025 academic school year.

A) Be between the ages of 17 and 24 as of February 15, 2024.

B) Submit musical works that have not been assigned to any major music publisher or major record label

The $2,000 Sallie Mae Scholarship is only open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia and any US Territory age 17 or older at the time of entry, and who meet one (1) of the four (4) following eligibility requirements at the time of entry:

  1. A parent who currently has a child enrolled in an accredited college or university located within the United States;
  2. A student who is currently enrolled in an accredited college or university located within the United States;
  3. A parent who currently has a child enrolled as a high school senior located within the United States;
  4. A student who is currently enrolled as a high school junior or senior who intends to enroll in an accredited college or university located with the United States, within a year of graduating high school.
