The Arvin High Praeterita Yearbook program is THE program to be a part of! Under the guidance of English teacher, Mrs. Valenzuela, the program is not only designed to capture the school year in 160 pages, it is a program where the students involved learn 21st century skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, analysis, and perseverance all while tapping into their creative side. Additionally, students within this program are taught elements of graphic design and photography; all skills needed to produce the best book for our campus.

Each year, your YB staff starts the book with a theme. A phrase or image that becomes our focal point for every photo we take and interview we gather. When we first thought about the theme for the 22-23 yearbook, we knew we wanted to build upon last year's theme of Right Here Right Now. As we continue to learn and adapt to our new reality, we want to remind everyone to always Paws for the Moment to appreciate life, and everything we have within Bear Country.
